In 2018, we launched the Circular Economy Transition (CET), a pioneer initiative for the transition to the circular economy in Switzerland and around the world.
Co-initiated with sanu durabilitas, and with the support of the MAVA Foundation, it is currently taking place in 6 cities – Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Ticino and Zurich.
BRING YOUR CIRCULAR IDEAS TO LIFE
Circular Economy Incubator
The Circular Economy Incubator enables individuals and start-ups to prototype and develop innovative solutions that help accelerate the transition to a circular economy in Switzerland.
During the programme, with the support of high-level mentors, experts and our network of impact investors, the selected entrepreneurs work on implementing their solutions and validating their business models.
ACT GLOBALLY
Accelerate2030
Accelerate2030 is a programme jointly initiated by Impact Hub Geneva-Lausanne and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), whose mission is to extend internationally the impact of entrepreneurs working to achieve positive social and environmental change that contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We believe that a paradigm shift towards sustainable business practices is underway, and as well as providing support in conventional business areas, we also enable entrepreneurs to embed a sustainable business culture through our leadership coaching.
UPGRADE YOUR SOLUTION
Kickstart Innovation
Kickstart Innovation is one of Europe’s largest innovation platforms connecting the innovation needs of key large organisations with the solutions of mature start-ups and intrapreneurial teams in the acceleration phase.
Since its launch in 2016, Kickstart has facilitated more than 200 partnerships between start-ups and large organisations, and participating start-ups have together raised more than CHF 2 billion.
Since 2020, circular economy principles have been integrated to focus on implementing sustainable solutions between late-stage start-ups and public and private sector partners.

Climathon
The aim of the Climathon is to support the climate plans of each canton by co-constructing a shared sustainable vision together, and then turning it into reality by working with developers, entrepreneurs, students and professionals.
Through this commitment and collective intelligence, we aim to promote innovative solutions and stimulate the creation of new projects.
Whether you come with an idea or are working on a new solution with an inspiring team, experts and mentors will help you and your team find solutions to the climate challenge.

My Carbon Challenge
My Carbon Challenge invites residents of Geneva and its surrounding region to take part in a month-long (November–December) initiative to discover their carbon footprint, adopt sustainable actions and contribute to the Canton’s climate goals (-60% emissions by 2030).
Thanks to the Our Climate Actions Geneva calculator, inspiring workshops and the support of an engaged local community, everyone is guided to better understand their impact and take action.
The program is available in both French and English.
Integrating SMEs in sustainability
SMEs of Tomorrow: Cycle of thematic events
The SMEs of Tomorrow program offers an opportunity for businesses in Romandy to obtain deeper information about the challenges they may face in relation to transitory issues, while connecting them to appropriate support measures.
The resources available are extensive, and it can be difficult for SMEs to navigate. Through 5 themed events over the year, SMEs have access to up-to-date information on legislation, materials management, digitisation and the sustainable profession.
