A step-by-step guide to building an iPhone app for beginners.
This is a workshop designed for beginners who have never coded or build an iOS app. In this iOS development workshop, participants would be introduced to basics of Swift programming language such as classes, methods, building objects, and coding conventions, setting up SDK and xCode, Playgrounds, MVC, App development and publishing an app on Apple Store . Jumping right into development, participants will work with strings, controllers, manage application data, create views and other UI elements. Participants will learn how to create ToDo app, and create specific interfaces for each device. By the completion of this iOS development workshop participants will be able to create a fully functioning iPhone app and run it on their Apple devices.

About the course teacher:
My name is Admir Demir. I have BSc and Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Electrical Engineering Faculty of Sarajevo (University of Sarajevo). I have been working as a software developer for more then five years. Last two years I was mostly worked with startup projects. I’m passionate about teaching people to code, so I worked as a high school professor teaching computer science and programming courses. Last year I’ve started with organizing workshops and course for iOS Development which was supported by USAID and EDC: Learning transforms lives. I love programming, learning, teaching, cats and long walking! I can’t wait to see you inside one of my courses!
Participants are required to bring a Mac Laptop or iMac.
The course will be held entirely in English.
