Winter Solstice at IHG
Since the dawn of time, the winter solstice has always been the source of many celebrations, both pagan and religious, in different cultures throughout history. People have celebrated this rebirth of the sun and the return of light. In concrete terms, it means that this day will be the shortest of the year, and that this night will be the longest, as the days begin to increase again and the sun gradually rises above the horizon.
It’s the perfect timing to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one around a little ritual celebration at the hub and an informal get together.
