My Job? Entrepreneur!
As part of the Long Night of the Careers, this session will dive into the topic of Entrepreneurship as a career. We will hear from experienced founders about their career path as an entrepreneur, as well as challenges they have faced and chances they see in founding their own company. With this event, we want to give listeners the courage and inspiration to follow their dreams and give them the opportunity to ask questions they want answered in order to move towards their own start-up.

Céline Spillmann studied law, economics and computer science and was named to the ’30 under 30′ list by business magazine Forbes in 2020. The cycle care brand PERIOD. is her second company after having co-founded a LegalTech startup. With PERIOD. Céline aims to put an end to menstrual suffering and the taboo around periods.
As a huge sports and fitness enthusiast with previous experience in personal training, Ben combines his two main passions for tech and sports to help people live more healthy years and digitise professional coaching. VAY is a shooting start in sports tech: the spin-off from ETH Zurich was founded in 2019 by Joel Roos, Ben Simon, and Patrizio Bonzani. In only two years, the company won multiple awards such as Venture Kick, the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award, Kickstart, worked with multiple global market leaders in fitness and health and raised over CHF 1M in funding. At Vay, Ben is responsible for all commercial aspects of the business and built up a team of 16 FTE in Zurich to democratise professional coaching in fitness and physiotherapy.
